         Creston Flea Market 

  vendor rules and registration


Creston Flea Market will be open every Saturday and Sunday, Memorial Day, and Labor Day from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. 
Space rental will be $10.00 per space except for food vendors (contact management for info). 

Please do not arrive before 6 a.m.

There will be no reservations for space at this time – first come, first served.

You may set up as a “garage sale” type vendor without a vendor's license two times per year maximum. If you plan to return again, we must require a vendor's license number to be on file with us.

➢ Advisement to Dealers  Ohio State Law requires vendors to have a valid transient vendor's license to be legal to conduct business. You must provide flea market

           management with that license number for their files.The cost of the license is $25.00 and is good anyplace in Ohio. There is no renewal fee. A vendor's license

           application may be obtained at any county auditor's office but must be sent to Columbus to obtain the license (this method takes   approximately 6 weeks).

           Application may also be made online with the State of Ohio Department of Taxation.  http://www.tax.ohio.gov/sales_and_use/registration.aspx

It is the responsibility of each vendor to work within the rules and regulations set forth by the State of Ohio, Wayne County Health Department, and all other governmental agencies and authorities.

Absolutely prohibited

  • Pets on the premises

  •  Sales of counterfeit products, fireworks, alcohol, tobacco, live animals, or anything else prohibited by law.

  •  Subletting of rental space        

Absolutely no food or drink to be sold (except produce) unless you are registered and approved by management as a food vendor with copies of Health Department

 permits and proof of liability insurance on file.

Management reserves the right to refuse set up or remove any vendor for any reason without refund.

All sale and personal items shall stay contained within your rented space(s). Keep the isles clear!

Please remove all items from your space when you leave. Keep your space clean throughout the day. Trash cans are to be used, not abused.

Management will be around to collect space rentals after 9 a.m. Please be in your space. (We strongly suggest you not leave it unattended.)

The flea market will be open rain or shine. No refunds or rain checks will be given.

Vendors without an Ohio vendor's license or “garage sale vendors” may rent spaces twice a year. You must register with management your name, address, and telephone number.

All other vendors  You must have an Ohio vendor's license to sell. You must register your name, address, telephone number, Ohio vendor's license number, and the type of merchandise sold with management.

You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Creston Flea Market and it's agents/employees/assigns from any claim, action, liability, loss, damage, bodily injury, or lawsuit incurred from participation in or while on the premises of Creston Flea Market.
